Not the topic I enjoy the most but let us try to keep a handle on things.
So far we have the the following players receiving treatment by the Physios.
Steven Gerrard – Groin injury, no word on the extent of the injury doubtful for Sunday.
Fernando Torres – Got a knock during the Atletico game and should be fit for Sunday.
Jaime Carragher – Twisted Ankle, Rafa expects him back on Sunday.
Daniel Agger – Lower back, from what I understand he should be back for Sunday’s game.
Albert Riera – Was injured during the Lyn game, expected to be back on Sunday.
Martin Skrtel – Thigh injury and will probably not feature on Sunday.
Fabio Aurelio – Injured while on holiday, will be out for another few weeks.
Alberto Aquilani – Recovering from surgery, will not feature for another 7 weeks.
Won’t be a good start for us
The Cpt. Fantastic injury is most likley just a recall from rafa.

Why even have friendlies this close to the start of the league? The WC qualify is near, yes, but still.
Definately not a good start but the lads have that experience of missing key players and still doing well so I wouldn’t say we don’t have a chance against spurs. Cmon you reds!! YNWA!
Spurs’ Woodgate is kept out for Sunday’s game either…I hope we can still manage to get a win there.
