After the victory against Wigan, the Reds need to keep the momentum going in order to gain the confidence back. First up in our Festive schedule takes us down to Portsmouth who have recently shown a small revival under new manager Avram Grant.
Albert Riera and Martin Kelly are the only players not available due to injuries. Glen Johnson is expected to return and face his old team. Ryan Babel also returns following his injury however he will probably start on the bench together with Aquilani, Fernando Torres is expected to be in the starting lineup.
The Reds will be wearing white socks because of the red socks in the Pompey home kit.
