Out of the possible scenarios, here’s how I’d rank rank them from most to least preferable:
1. Best case – We win & Chelsea win the title
2. We win & Chelsea lose the title (at least we have our pride)

It’s not about fourth spot or stopping the scum from winning the title because neither are entirely in our hands its about supporting your team. A good win or even a shaky win against the rentboys may help the players confidence and even propel them positively as a team into next season whilst attracting more interest from prospective buyers too.
I know it has been a disappointing season by our standards on the pitch, but far and away more disappointing this season has been the performance of many of the supporters of our great club, and they know who they are, who have spent most of the season promoting/regurgatating the negative comments of the media and verbally abuseing the players, the manager and the club. Shame on you!

I don’t want to sound all ‘gloom and doom’, but I feel we have no chance of finishing fourth (today we are 7th) and I also am not so optimistic about Chelsea coming to Anfield even though they are not playing their best football. With Torres out (in time to be fully fit for the World Cup…lol) we should concentrate on winning the EUROPA LEAGUE to get some much wanted silverware and put this horrendous season behind us.
