Brendan Rodgers detailed the state of the squad in his pre-Swansea press conference.
Brendan Rodgers has revealed the latest injury news before Liverpool face Swansea at Anfield in two days time.
Brad Jones, who was forced off after fifteen minutes during the 1-0 win over Burnley, is definitely out and will be sent for a scan to see the extent of the damage to his thigh.
The injury means out of favour Simon Mignolet will return to the starting XI against the Welsh side.
BR: “Brad will have a scan today on his thigh to see how long he is out. Simon’s time out has helped him reflect on things.”

However, other than the current issues with goalkeepers, there were no other reported fitness problems in the squad after their latest victory in the Premier League.

The Boss also hinted that Emre Can may be returning to full fitness and we could now see our summer signing show the masses of potential we saw in pre-season.
Rodgers even said the German could end up in central defence for the Reds in the future.
BR: “Emre Can can play centre-back. He has as big future here but it was curtailed by his fitness, missing training.”

BR: “Emre is very young, acclimatising to the game. His favourite position is more in defensive play.”
