Transfer website ranks ten highest valued Liverpool players, with Dejan Lovren surprisingly included but Emre Can left out

4) Jordan Henderson – £20.24m

The Liverpool captain to be is only valued this low due to his contract being set to expire at the end of next season. If and when he does sign a new deal, then his value should correspondingly soar. The England international has been in fine form so far this term, and looks set to become a key player.

Fair valuation? – YES

3) Philippe Coutinho – £22.00m

The Brazilian might have only cost us £8.5m back in January 2013, but there’s little doubting the fact that he’s since become one of the bets players in the country. Brendan Rodgers must value the 22-year-old higher than any of his other players, and would certainly not accept an offer anywhere near this amount.

Fair valuation? – NO

2) Daniel Sturridge – £22.00m

The only thing holding him back is his injury problems. This time last year his value would likely have been around £10m higher, but after an injury-hit campaign that will likely see him miss around six months worth of games, it’s easy to see why any potential interest has been cooled. 26 later this year, Sturridge has only started 150 games in his professional career, and it’s hard not to imagine how good both he and we would be if his body just held out.

Fair valuation? – YES
