There seems to be a serious focus on our already fantastic youth setup at the moment, with the latest addition to our academy a promising young midfielder we’ve poached from Arsenal, as reported by the Metro.
16-year-old midfielder Elijah Dixon-Bonner completed his switch from Arsenal recently, with the youngster taking to Instagram to make the news official.

He was highly rated at the Emirates prior to his move, and they even offered him a scholarship to keep him at the club. We were able to lure him away however, and his future looks extremely bright.

We have seen a number of talented stars come through our own academy recently, and you’d probably say we have the best youth setup in the Premier League at the moment. Hopefully Dixon-Bonner can add to our already superb lineup, and become yet another star of the future on Merseyside.
There is something extra satisfying about poaching a youngster from your rivals and seeing them succeed, and we may well have got one over on Arsenal here.
