It shows 35-year-old centre-back Kolo Toure pressing Villarreal’s goalkeeper relentlessly so he can’t take a quick goal-kick from his hands – before sprinting back to get in position.
Is that not just brilliant?
It typified the work-rate of every player last night. There was no way they were going to let Villarreal off the hook. It was 3-0, and could have been plenty more. Outstanding effort all round.
Toure put in another absolutely stellar performance for Liverpool, and we at EOTK want him offered another year long contract extension.
