Roberto Firmino has been praising Mario Gotze in today’s media, claiming the German would add class to an already star-studded attack midfield line-up.

“I know Gotze well from my time in Germany, when I played with Hoffenheim against Borussia Dortmund and Bayern,” Firmino said (via Mirror).

“He has incredible qualities in attack.

“He would fit in well with us, and he will surely help us with his class also.”

Gotze himself has been tight-lipped so far.

“I am fairly relaxed. We’ve won the German championship. I have won my fifth German championship. The joy outweighs everything.” he said (via Teamtalk).

“I am under contract until 2017. We have an important match next weekend. Those are two facts.”

The Brazilian also discussed the biggest game our season as he looked ahead to the final against Sevilla on Wednesday:

“We have worked over the entire season so hard and deserve this final,” he claimed.

“But Sevilla is probably the most difficult opponents we could have faced. But we have beaten Dortmund and we won’t hide.

“In Basel we have to deliver our maximum again.”
