Jurgen Klopp is set to take teenager Shamal George to America as third-choice keeper for the International Champions Cup. (via Echo)

The 18-year-old, who has been with the club since 2009, signed his first professional contract at Anfield earlier this summer and even travelled to Basel with the first team for the Europa League final against Sevilla (Echo).

Mignolet will return to training this week and will travel, while fellow new-boy Loris Karius will also make the trip.

Adam Bogdan will not fly after having a medical with Wigan earlier today. It is not clear whether or not Alex Manninger, who is widely expected to be added to the Liverpool ranks once Bogdan leaves, will travel.
