Premier League table by shot/conversion ratio; Liverpool surprisingly high, Arsenal top

Posted by

This surprises us, in all honesty.

Only Arsenal this season have a better shot to goal ratio than Liverpool in the Premier League, according to talkSPORT.

While we trust the potency of our attackers, it’s only a slight shock because we take more attempts on goal than any other side by quite a distance. We guess we score more goals than them all too!

With a 21.8% ratio, Liverpool score with just better than one in five attempts – not bad considering we pepper opponents with efforts throughout the 90 minutes.

Interestingly, the table isn’t too dissimilar to the actual Premier League one, proving that teams who are incisive in front of goal win points.

Hopefully we can maintain this prolific stat in front of goal throughout the campaign, while continuing to create plenty of chances to boot.
