Luis Suarez amazingly omits all his Liverpool goals from his career top 3

Luis Suarez has failed to mention a single Liverpool goal when asked to name to best three in his career.

To be fair to Suarez, he has scored such an insane number of stunners it must be incredibly difficult to pick out his best — but we still would have thought we would get a mention. Who can forget that worldie against Norwich or the incredible control he showed in the strike against Newcastle Utd?

Instead, our former striker chose his brace against Real Madrid last season along with his goal at home to Atletico Madrid. (Metro)

‘Throughout my career I have scored a lot of nice goals, but if I had to pick, I’ll take the two I scored against Madrid in the Bernabeu and the one at home to Atletico that enabled us to go clear at the top,” said Suarez.

He also admitted he failed in his dream to win the title with us.

“I scored many goals but could not win the Premier League with Liverpool, which was a dream,” he added.

Suarez signed for us from Ajax for £22.8 million in the winter of 2011. He went on to become the first Liverpool player to score 30 goals in a league season since Ian Rush. He eventually left for Barcelona in the summer of 2014 after a third biting incident in the World Cup in Brazil.
