John Arne Riise has been speaking to the media about current left-back James Milner.
Riise, who is arguably our best left-back since the turn of the millennium, made the comments to SkySports (cited in Mirror).
“He is adaptable and is a player who managers love because he is professional, can play different positions and always gives 100 per cent,” said the Norwegian.
“Milner is more of a hard-working left-back than an offensive left-back, but he’s also scored quite a few penalties and is getting forward really well.”
Riise certainly knows what it takes to be a Liverpool full-back. He played well over 200 Premier League games for the club and won a whole host of trophies and honours.
