Martin Skrtel was at Anfield for eight years, and although his defending was occasionally the stuff of nightmares, he was always loyal to the club and gave his all.
He left for Fenerbahce this summer just gone after Jurgen Klopp plainly saw he didn’t have a long-term future with us, but it’s good to see the Slovakian’s heart still lies on Merseyside!
