You have to feel for the guy…
He’s been under intense scrutiny all week long and has been the subject of some cruel jokes and comments in the media.
Loris Karius is 23-years-old and he’s new to the country, and we have no idea how horrible it has been for him on a personal level to be at the centre of a shit-storm involving world famous pundits, his own fans and Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp decided to drop Karius as a result this evening v Middlesbrough to pull him out of the firing line, but the young German took it really badly – and was apparently seen crying behind his manager on the substitutes bench.
When we’ve found the incident we’ll add it to the piece, but fans have been discussing it on Twitter.
Also Karius was crying on the bench. Heartbreaking
