Predicted Liverpool XI v Plymouth; multiple changes expected

Liverpool face yet another game in a few days, having failed to get the job done against Plymouth in the FA Cup 3rd Round first time round…

Our 0-0 draw at Anfield means we have an arduous journey to the south coast for the right to play Wolves in the 4th Round.

Jurgen Klopp picked the youngest Liverpool side of all time first time out, and we expect him to make a similar number of changes this time around too.

Loris Karius will play in goal after being given cup duties by Klopp.

Nathaniel Clyne has a minor injury which means Trent Alexander-Arnold will continue at right-back. Alberto Moreno allows James Milner a rest at left-back, while Lucas is likely to captain the side next to Joe Gomez in defence.

Kevin Stewart is likely to anchor the midfield, and we think Ovie Ejaria will play on one side, with Gini Wijnaldum on the other. The Dutchman has been better than Emre Can and the German could maybe do with the break.

Up top, Sheyi Ojo and Divock Origi should provide support for Daniel Sturridge – which would make it nine changes in total.
