Liverpool PL fixtures 2017/18: Watford, Palace then Arsenal first up

Posted by

Liverpool’s Premier League fixtures for the 2017/18 campaign were released this morning.

Jurgen Klopp has plenty of work to do in the transfer market before we embark on his second full campaign, but seeing our list of games makes it seem all the more real..

We start off with Watford away, before bogey-team Crystal Palace head to Anfield. We then face our first big boy, welcoming Arsenal to Anfield. We’re at home to United in October and play the first Merseyside Derby in December!

Last term we had an incredibly difficult start to the season, playing the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United in our first set of matches – but they tuned out to be the easy ones with Liverpool instead struggling horribly against the so-called lesser teams.

If we’re to be successful this season coming, we need to continue our dominance over our rivals, but learn to put away defensive outfits who play a more direct brand of football.
