Liverpool put in a pleasing display in the Asia Premier League Trophy today against Crystal Palace, beating Frank de Boer’s team 2-0.
Despite dominating the first-half, we went in drawing, despite Mo Salah’s very impressive 45 minute cameo.
The Egyptian shone, but he was out staged by his fellow new signing Dom Solanke, who blasted in from outside the area in the second-half to give us the lead.
From that point onwards, Divock Origi added another as substitute Coutinho threatened to run riot.
Importantly, there were no injuries and Liverpool’s pre-season preparations are looking good.
