Liverpool have won two and drawn one of our first three Premier League games, and it would have been three from three had Watford’s injury-time offside goal been flagged correctly.
What’s more, we beat Hoffenheim twice during this time as well in what’s been a superb start to the campaign on the pitch.
As a result, Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award, and two of his players are in contention for the individual award: Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.
You can vote for either of the Reds, right here, via the official Premier League website.
Mane has been jaw-dropping since his return from injury and has bagged in each of our three games so far… His effort versus Watford was special, his Palace goal crucial and his stunner v Arsenal reminded us of the worldy he notched at the Emirates last year.
Salah, back in the league for his second stint in England, looks an entirely more rounded player. The Egyptian scored v Watford and ran 70 yards to embarrass Arsenal at the weekend as well.
With that duo on the wing this term, and with Roberto Firmino central, Liverpool are capable of anything this term.
And Coutinho has still to enter the side…
