Have Liverpool been unlucky so far this season?

We’ve created more chances (107) than any side in the Premier League, but currently sit 7th, with 13 goals scored.
In fact, the only teams in Europe’s five leagues who’ve created more are Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli.
Napoli have won all their games, Real Madrid, like us, have struggled results wise and are in fifth – while Bayern sacked Carlo Ancelotti and have dropped seven points.
It’s a myth that Liverpool are not playing well. We are. We’re just not being clinical in front of goal and are defending poorly.
But our general play, tactics and everything in between is solid.
As much as the defenders need to improve, the strikers need to start burying chances. Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah especially have been wasteful this term and it’s up to the pair to start showing why they should be considered elite Premier League attackers.
