Dalglish on Mo Salah’s ‘bad habit’

As bad habits go, it not an especially bad one to have!

Kenny Dalglish has joked that Mo Salah’s ‘bad habit’ is finding the back of the net.

The flying winger has 12 in 17 starts for Liverpool since signing from Roma in the summer.

“Mo has got a bad habit of scoring goals and he doesn’t want to give up that habit,” he told the Liverpool ECHO.

“Sometimes clubs suit players and sometimes players suit clubs.

“He seems to have got a really happy relationship with the club, the players and the manager. He’s been excellent so far. Long may it continue.”

Mo Salah scored a brace last time out against West Ham.

Dalglish’s analysis is spot on. Salah has taken to Liverpool as a club and team instantaneously, and the fans are already in love with him.

He’s phenomenally quick and gets himself in fantastic positions throughout matches.

His finishing has been criticised, but his brace against West Ham last time out showed someone who in our eyes looks pretty clinical!

If he’s on 12 goals already, we’d hope he’ll at least double that by the end of the season.

That’ll make him a 25-goal season man – even more impressive when you consider he’s no an out and out striker, but an inverted inside forward.

Now, with Coutinho and Adam Lallana back healthy, his supply line will be improved.
