Atletico Madrid have reported Barcelona to FIFA regarding the illegal approach of French forward Antoine Griezmann, reports the Independent.
The Spanish giants are furious that Barca have gone directly to the striker and his representatives, with no formal offer being accepted.
It’s been suggested that Griezmann has already privately agreed to move to Camp Nou at the end of this season, but to Atleti, the approach and talks are unwarranted.

Recently, Barcelona’s director Guillermo Amor claimed a meeting with Griezmann’s family has taken place, which encouraged Atleti into action.
“If Bartomeu met with Griezmann’s family as the newspapers say, then there may well have been an approach,” Amor admitted. “Though, I don’t know anything for sure.”
Liverpool fans are very excited about this news, with Barcelona having tapped up our own Coutinho since the beginning of the summer.
The hope online is that Barca are given proper sanctions, like Real Madrid and Atletico have been in recent years, which will ban them from buying new players – therefore keeping Phil at Anfield.
Obviously, this is the very beginning of the investigation and Barca may be found innocent, but it’s something for Reds to hope for, anyway.
It would be the least Barca deserve, having shown a remorseless attitude towards players contracted to other clubs in the past few seasons – including Luis Suarez – who left Liverpool to join them in 2014.
