Two more LFC exits touted, pair linked with departures

There could be a bit of chopping and changing at Liverpool between now and the summer, with two exits in particular being touted on Monday.

One is not new news for us, as it involves Emre Can who is set to see his current contract expire at the end of the season and will therefore could move on a free transfer elsewhere.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are pressing ahead with their bid to snap him up this week, with sporting director Beppe Marotta ready to reach an agreement with the our German midfielder.

If the move materialises, it will be a disappointment to see the 23-year-old leave Anfield having been a prominent figure and with much room for further improvement, but on the flip side of that, we’ve got the arrival of Naby Keita to look forward to and that’s quite alright with us.

Meanwhile, that might not be the only exit we’ll have to contend with, as Divock Origi has been speaking to the German media while away on loan at Wolfsburg for the season.

The 22-year-old has a contract with us until 2019 and so he may return this summer and push on for a place in our side moving forward. However, it sounds as though he isn’t ruling anything out and could be convinced by a permanent move to the Bundesliga.

“I think everything’s possible,” he told SportBuzzer.de. “I focus on the here and now. I have a good relationship with Liverpool, but feel really well here at Wolfsburg. We’ll sit down at the end of the season, and talk we’ll see what’s next. Right now, I am here for another six months, and I am open for everything.”

Origi has made 86 appearances for the club, scoring 21 goals, while during his loan stint in Germany he’s found the back of the net four times in 16 outings for Wolfsburg.
