LFC could have 4 Brazilians in starting XI by 2018/19 with £110m spend – Reports

Liverpool sold Lucas Leiva in the summer and Coutinho in January, meaning right now, Roberto Firmino is the only Brazilian at the club!

But this might change, with goalkeeper Alisson heavily targeted and rated at £44m (Metro), with suggestions Jurgen Klopp will go for the Roma man in the summer having already dropped Simon Mignolet for Loris Karius.

But yesterday, Liverpool were linked with Malcom too, as a result of the Bordeaux manager inexplicably throwing our name into the hat (IBTimes), despite Arsenal’s interest.

The 20-year-old has lit up Ligue 1 this term and could bolster our forward line which while exceptional, lacks depth. He is rated at £44m as well though; a serious fee for a player who’s only recently broken onto the scene.

Then this morning, a report began to circle which links Liverpool to Roma left-back Emerson Palmieri, who’s rated at £22m.

Sport Witness translate the article from Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim we could go in for the fullback again this summer after pulling out in 2017 due to the player’s injury.

This for us is the least likely addition of the three. His price is reasonable, but Andrew Robertson has been a revelation and Alberto Moreno was decent before his injury as well.

So if you had to push us, we think we’ll buy Alisson – who’s around half the price of the brilliant Jan Oblak – but not the other two.

Hopefully one Brazilian will keep Bobby happy!
