Liverpool ‘agree terms’ with two-footed speed demon

Liverpool are on the verge of announcing the capture of Anderson Arroyo, a Colombian prodigy still aged only 18.

We’ve agreed terms with both his current club Fortaleza and the player himself, according to the reliable World Football Index, but will have to send him out on loan to gain a work permit.

The source claims Arroyo underwent a trial at Mallorca in December to see if he was right for the Spanish club and will stay there until he becomes eligible to work in the UK.

Arroyo is a rapid, marauding left-back, who’s actually equally comfortable with both feet – something not very common in his position.

Mallorca play in Spain’s second division, so we hope he’ll get the necessary chances required to impress.

The youngster has starred for Colombia’s youth sides and is regarded as a South American with enormous potential, so we’re excited to see him develop.

The last South American academy prospect we snared who made the first-team consistently was Emiliano Insua, the Argentine left-back, who’s gone on to have a good career.

Hopefully Arroyo will follow in his footsteps – and some.
