Lucas Leiva is scoring goals at a rate of knots for his new club Lazio…
Well, in comparison to how often he notched them for Liverpool, anyway!

Lucas made LFC fans smile with comment on Tottenham’s latest transfer…
We thought the 31-year-old Brazilian scored his second goal for the Italians today against Cagliari, which is as many as he bagged in his last seven seasons at Liverpool, but it was sadly given as a Luca Ceppitelli own goal.
On first view, it looks like Lucas gets in at the near post and bullets a header into the net, but sadly, it came off Cagliari’s centre-back instead.
Obviously the presence of the midfielder was too much for the Italian, who nodded into his own net out of pure fear!
We’re delighted Lucas is doing well in Serie A, however.
The pace of the game suits him better and he’s become a key man for Lazio.
He’ll always be welcomed back at Anfield though. We hope we draw Lazio in Europe one day and he can get the reception he deserves from our supporters.
