Loris Karius produced the kind of save today in the first-half v Everton that has seen Manchester united’s David de Gea branded ‘the best in the world’.
Our young German has been increasingly impressive since winning a spot in the first-team, but today, made the best save of his Liverpool career from a Yannick Bolasie curler.

Karius: Manchester City player helped me get where I now am
Everton’s attacker connected brilliantly and found the very far corner of the German’s net, but somehow, Karius scrambled and finger-tipped the ball past the post.
It was stunning, and you can check it out below, along with some of the reaction from Liverpool’s supporters!
😳 @LorisKarius 👏
Again, movement in relation to the ⚽️, as Bolasie took his touch inside, Karius moved with the ball, without that that re-position, he simply does NOT get his fingertip onto the ⚽️
Top, top save from the @LFC #goalkeeper 👏 #Gkunion pic.twitter.com/DNb50piGwp

I’m sorry but if De Gea made that save that Karius has just pulled off from Bolasie, the commentary would be going WILD about it. Fantastic save. Like properly good. #derbyday
