Mido has always been outspoken, but it feels to us like the former Tottenham forward is now trying to live off the success of Mo Salah.
He wants Liverpool’s 25-year-old to win the Champions League, but is also desperate for him to switch to Real Madrid immediately afterwards.
How does that make sense?!
“No, I will not cut my hair this time if Salah wins the Champions League.
“I’m going to wear a wig that looks exactly like Mohamed Salah’s hair and I’ll wear it on television after the game,” Mido told KingFut, before telling another publication about Real Madrid’s interest, as if he has some kind of insider information:
“I had feared that he would fail at Liverpool but I believe that he is ready to move to the next level. Real Madrid would be able to use his strengths.
“Real Madrid want him…
“We have all seen the poor performances of Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema with the 4-4-2. Madrid would be able to use Salah’s virtues…”
Salah has a Champions League semi-final to prepare for, and Mido is here acting like a pumped-up agent and shouting rubbish from the rooftops.
We’d quite like him to give it a rest.

Mido never fulfilled his talent, and just because Salah is doing so, it doesn’t make him the former forward’s property, just because they were born in the same country.
