Zinedine Zidane is likely to pick his strongest available XI for the clash with Liverpool on Saturday, with no injuries to any of his starters affecting preparations.
The only decision he has to make, really, is which two from Gareth Bale, Isco, Karim Benzema and Marcos Asensio to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in the front-three.
Based on the fact Ronaldo loves playing alongside Benzema, we think the French striker will get the nod over Bale, who performs better in a 4-3-3 formation – cutting in from the right.

But with Ronaldo and Benzema up top in a 4-3-1-2, Isco is the natural choice for no.10 – and this is who we think Zidane will choose to complement the legendary forwards – considering he started the final two La Liga games and shone.
Casemiro anchors the side, with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos either side, in what’s undeniably a jaw-dropping midfield trio.
At the back, Keylor Navas keeps net, with offensive fullbacks Dani Carvajal and Marcelo marauding the flanks.
Sergio Ramos partners Raphael Varane at centre-back.
Every single player, bar perhaps the keeper, is world-class – and Navas is still exceptional on his day.
Liverpool have an extraordinary task on our hands, but we back Jurgen Klopp and the boys to get it done.
