Last night, Liverpool confirmed the transfer of Fabinho, but two more Ligue 1 stars could follow him to Anfield.

According to L’Equipe, we’ll now turn our attentions to Lyon’s Nabil Fekir and Fabinho’s ex-Monaco team-mate Thomas Lemar…
Liverpool are currently targeting both Nabil Fékir & Thomas Lemar for a summer move, according to tomorrow's L'Équipe.

We had assumed that since we became interested in Fekir, our potential deal for Lemar was off the table, but the French press reckons we may target both!
This seems like potential overkill for us, but it’s still quite exciting nonetheless.
Fekir enjoyed a brilliant season and is Lyon’s captain, so would be our priority, but Lemar has huge amounts of talent and is part of France’s World Cup squad, too.
With Naby Keita arriving too, Liverpool’s options in midfield are looking increasingly impressive, especially if we can complete a deal for one of Fekir or Lemar.
The one player we’d like Liverpool to buy is world-class goalkeeper Jan Oblak, but it would require a quite ludicrous sum to get Atletico Madrid to sell.
The same is true of Roma’s Alisson, but our Champions League Final defeat proves it’s a position that needs immediate attention.
