L’Equipe journalist Erik Bielderman is convinced that Nabil Fekir will sign for Liverpool – who the player has earmarked as his first-choice destination.

We’re very interested in the 24-year-old and Dave Maddock has claimed in the Mirror that Fekir has already told Lyon he wants an Anfield switch.
“We do believe that it [Fekir’s move to Liverpool] is going to happen,” Bielderman told talkSPORT 2.
“I’m not going to tell you it’s going to happen on a very short basis but it should because it seems quite obvious from the Lyon camp and the Fekir camp, Liverpool is really the first choice.
“He’s a playmaker, he’s a creative player so you know you have to use him in a central position behind one or two strikers.”
The World Cup starts in two weeks and we’d love Liverpool to wrap up a deal before the competition in Russia starts.
If we wait, it’ll take some time, with the player also needing a lengthy break after his exploits at the tournament.
Fekir will add goals, assists and flair to our midfield – three elements which have been missing since Coutinho exited to Barcelona in January.
With Naby Keita arriving to offer dynamism and drive, and Fabinho’s solidity and composure, the midfield options at Klopp’s disposal look very exciting for 2018/19.
