But it’s a long-term legacy the boss is looking to build, and that’s why, according to good sources such as Dominic King in the Daily Mail, he’s looking to bring in Nabil Fekir for next season.
The Frenchman has tore it up in Ligue 1 this term, registering 23 goals and nine assists in all competitions.
Obviously you can’t make an opinion on a player based on YouTube alone, but what we can judge from this is that Fekir is extraordinarily skilful, two-footed, lethal from the dead-ball and composed in front of goal.
For an attacking midfielder, that’s a pretty good start!
In 2018/19, Liverpool will have this kind of end product on top of what’s quite possible the best front-three on the planet right now.
