Loris Karius made his debut for Besiktas yesterday, but despite playing well, made an error in the final minute to lose his new side two points.
Below, you’ll see his top save in the first-half, but also the mistake he made at the death, when he unnecessarily left his line and enabled the opposition to attacker to tap into an empty net.

Karius should just become a model or something tbh pic.twitter.com/hvb87dhwRf

The German is spending this season and next on loan in Turkey, and if he plays over 50% of the matches, Besiktas have a clause in the contract which means they have to buy him for £10m-odd.
Karius’s replacement Alisson committed a blunder himself this weekend, but thankfully Liverpool still won – and the Brazilian has plenty more time and chances before we start to judge him in any way negatively.
He’s largely been exceptional since arriving and we’re very sure he’ll bounce back.
