Man. City spend tens of thousands on special Spy Bus for Anfield trip

This isn’t an April Fool’s post…

Manchester City have genuinely decked out their team bus with over 15 high-definition, state of the art cameras, specially made for their trip to Anfield on Sunday, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The idea is that they’ll be able to identify anybody throwing anything at the bus to police, after no arrests were made to the two or three Liverpool fans who acted stupidly before our Champions League win last season.

Their bus is taking a ‘secret route’ to Anfield, although, there’s only so many roads and entrances into the stadium, so we’re not exactly sure what the plan is here!

City aren’t very used to big matches against opponents with actual football fans, are they?

Do they really think there’s going to be thousands lining the streets before a Premier League game in October…?

We wonder if the Sky Blues are planning on spending any money to ‘protect’ United’s bus, which was ‘attacked’ by City fans a few years back!?

Weird. Hopefully, the atmosphere will be intimidating inside the stadium, as City are hugely affected by Jurgen Klopp’s pressing tactics and Anfield when its at its noisiest.
