Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe was in awe of Mo Salah as the Egyptian ran rings around his Cherries defenders on Saturday afternoon – calling him world-class.
Via Neil Jones, Howe said: “Salah looked good today, didn’t he? He looked razor sharp and we struggled to handle him. He’s one of the best in the world.”
Salah has bizarrely been criticised by some as being a one-season wonder, but we always knew that was not the case.
Hopefully, this hat-trick can really push him on and he can go on a bit of a goal-scoring run just as he did last season.
The attack certainly looked more fluid today, even with Sadio Mane not on the field for most of the game. That will need to continue against Napoli on Tuesday in the next huge match in this festive sequence.
