Bitter Warnock says he’ll play kids v City & will lose by ’10 or 11′ goals

Neil Warnock is an idiot, isn’t he?

He constantly harangues officials when decisions don’t go his way, but laughs it off when they do. He plays a dire brand of football and is a miserable hypocrite.

We were not expecting Cardiff to get anything out of their midweek clash with Manchester City, but now we know they won’t – after Warnock basically admitted he’s going to forfeit the game.

“I think we can keep the score down at Man City, I think we can keep it to single figures,” he said, cited in the Echo.

“But I might play the reserves down there, it’ll be interesting to see what the journalists think of that.

“We keep getting knock-backs, I will probably play the U23s on Wednesday against Manchester City and try to keep it down to 10 or 11. It doesn’t matter who you play at the minute, it is who has a flag in his hand and who has a whistle.”

Remember when Warnock claimed Liverpool were ruining football for fielding a second string side back in 2008, when we needed to rest players before a Champions League fixture?

Perhaps this only matters when it affects one of his sides…

Despite Warnock’s nonsense, it doesn’t really matter what team he picks for the trip to the Etihad – they’re not going to win unless something absolutely bizarre occurs.

Liverpool just have to keep on winning and hope someone else does us a favour. City still have to face Manchester United, Spurs, Leicester and Crystal Palace away.

Surely one of those sides will nick a draw?! If City do go on to win their remaining fixtures – then fair play – they deserve the title and we’ll just be mightily unlucky to be up against one of the best sides this country’s ever seen.
