Sadio Mane was on fire for the Reds last season, notching an incredible 26 goals, with not one from the penalty spot or direct from a dead ball.
The Senegalese winger has been brilliant since he came in from Southampton, but last season he really came alive and showed his top form. At times, he was even more influential than Mo Salah.
From a double on the opening day against West Ham United to a diving header against Wolves at Anfield, this video shows every single one of Mane’s strikes from last season. There’s some real quality in there.
Next season, he will be looking to push on again. There is no reason why he can’t match the same goals tally next year as well – Mane is already world-class, but it’s an exciting thought that he can improve even more.
Next up for the winger, though, is a trip to Egypt to represent Senegal at the African Cup of Nations. He might even face Mo Salah at some point in that tournament, before returning for pre-season training ahead of the new campaign.
