Mo Salah had another incredible season in red last year, which, of course, ended with him bagging a penalty in the Champions League final against Tottenham.
He was the joint winner of the Premier League Golden Boot – level with Sadio Mane and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang – and netted at vital times, often scoring the only goal in a game, being the difference maker.
Had it not been for his strike against Napoli in the Champions League group stages, the Reds would have been playing Europa League football after Christmas, while his wondergoal against Chelsea in April was simply stunning.
Even some of the smaller things, like his sumptuous touches and jaw-dropping dribbling and vision are a delight to watch.
After a break this summer, Salah should hopefully be refreshed and ready to go again. He won’t be resting on his laurels and will look to push on once again, further cementing himself as one of the world’s top stars.
