21-year-old midfielder Ovie Ejaria is set to join Championship side Reading on a season-long loan, according to Football Insider.
Ejaria was not selected to go on the first team tour of the USA and he was also left out of the U23’s game against at Marine yesterday.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, so it makes sense that he could go back if he impressed with the Royals. Ejaria had earlier spent the first half of the season with Steven Gerrard up at Rangers, but that loan was cut short.

Ejaria looked like a real player when he first started to come through the Academy but it hasn’t quite happened for him yet at first team level wherever he’s been at.
Hopefully this move goes through and he can have a good campaign next year, perhaps earning a permanent transfer next summer.
