Pep Guardiola is a great manager, obviously, but the way he behaves on the touchline in permanent faux-outrage is embarrassing.
Yesterday, throughout the entirety of what’s essentially a pre-season friendly, Manchester City’s manager was gesturing, throwing his arms in the air and basically attention seeking.
Jurgen Klopp is animated on the touchline himself, but usually just celebrating his own team’s good play rather than berating officials.
Liverpool’s captain Jordan Henderson obviously agrees with us, too.
During the match at Wembley, Hendo got off our bench after being subbed off and told Pep exactly what he thought of the cringeworthy antics.
That’s our captain!
