Reds forward Mo Salah has donated around £2.5 million to the National Cancer Institute in his home country of Egypt.
20 people were killed and another 47 were injured in a suspected terrorist attack involving a car speeding on the wrong side of the road.
The hospital was damaged after an explosion, meaning it needs to be partially rebuilt. Salah’s donation will cover around half the cost of that reconstruction.
