Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson tried their hand at a rival’s celebration after linking-up to score at Melwood.

Ahead of Arsenal’s visit to Anfield, the pair bowed their heads and shook hands in the style of Gunners duo Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Now, there’s a possibility that their supporters will see this as mocking gesture and use it in a bid to fire the strikers up.

But in all likelihood it’s just the two defenders having a bit of fun.

Either way, Van Dijk and Aubameyang will be relishing their battle on Saturday.
