The Reds face Sheffield United in the Premier League at 12:30pm UK time today, aiming to extend a winning run of 15 games in the Premier League stretching back over the final few matches of last season as well.
To do that, though, the Reds will need to do something that they have never done before: win at Bramall Lane in the Premier League. The Reds’ previous three games at Sheffield United’s ground have yielded two draws and a defeat.
In the run of 15 wins that the Reds are on, they have scored 42 goals, with Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino netting 64% of those, according to LiverpoolFC.com.
Only the 2-0 win at Cardiff City during that run saw none of the trio score, with Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner on the scoresheet that day.
If the Reds do win this afternoon, then that will be the first time since 1990 that they have won all of their first four away fixtures of a league season, having already been victorious at Southampton, Burnley and Chelsea.
