Alisson Becker is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in world football and it seems that every area of his game is perfect, with our No.1 explaining how he deals with one-vs-one situations.

Speaking with liverpoolfc.com, the Brazilian said: “Training and reading situations are the key.

In one-v-ones you have strikers who have more technique to chip the ball and others like to dribble [around] you, so you have to train and be ready for all these situations.”

It’s no surprise to hear that the preparation done in Kirkby is what makes the biggest difference for the 31-year-old and the comes down to John Achterberg, Jack Robinson and Claudio Taffarel’s coaching too.

No doubt playing against the likes of Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota in training every day will ensure that the former Roma man is always at optimum sharpness.
