Jordan Henderson is widely regarded as the best candidate to be our future captain, and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has jokingly had words with the young midfielder about his conduct off the field.
The player-turned-pundit commented on a recent Instagram post of Henderson’s, in which the 25-year-old was posing with some friends while wearing a back-slung cap.

Scolding the tireless work-horse like an angry father, Carragher humourously (I hope) commented and said, “Jordan turn the cap round you’re LFC’s future captain!”
Henderson has shown his qualities in recent seasons, and stepped up when we needed a leader figure on the field in the absence of Steven Gerrard. He could certainly do with taking some tips from Jamie Carragher, although I’m not sure if those tips should be regarding fashion.
Carragher has plenty of experience donning the captain’s armband, and knows all about what it means to lead the team out – hopefully Henderson will be as loyal as the likes of Gerrard and Carragher were before him.
