Liverpool’s Adam Lallana is battling it out with Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min for the EA Sports Player of the Month for September.
The two are currently tiptoeing around 40% of the votes each with the deadline for fans to have their say being midnight tonight.
The official Premier League website has given fans the choice of five players to choose from, all of which have impressed since the beginning of the season.
Current voting (as of Monday, October 10, 12:51pm):
- Kevin De Bruyne- 8%
- Adam Lallana- 38%
- Romelu Lukaku- 2%
- Son Heung-Min- 39%
- Theo Walcott- 14%
Lallana, who’s goal against Leicester has also been nominated for Carling Goal of the Month, has been superb for Liverpool this season, leading the high intensity pressing and offering the goals and creativity that has helped his side blow teams away this campaign.
Spurs man Son Heung-Min has also enjoyed a great start to the campaign, producing braces against both Stoke City and Middlesbrough.
Let’s make sure our man is rewarded for his rise to form though and ensure his efforts are recognised by the rest of the league.
Votes from fans only count as 10% of the final result but let’s do our best to support Lallana and show our appreciation for his recent performances.
