Last night Liverpool Under-23s thrashed Reading’s kids 5-1, helped by a Rhian Brewster brace.
The striker is only 16-years-old but belied his years to put in a match-winning performance.
Below, we’ve embedded his individual highlights into this post…
You’ll see his ability to press, work, dribble – but most importantly: finish.
His first goal is a classic striker’s finish, shooting quickly into the corner of the net, having shifted the ball out of the defender’s way.
The second is clinical, tapping in after Sheyi Ojo’s effort hit the post and rebounded quickly. It looked easy, but the ball was coming out at pace and Brewster showed a remarkably cool head to get the job done.
