Today is the 28th anniversary of when Bill Shankly passed away. This morning I encouraged fellow L.F.C. fans to start Tweeting his name. Within one hour Bill Shankly was a Twitter trending topic. This is awesome, what a way to honour the great man, thanks to those who participated. Now let us win it tonight for the father of our club, we are all children of Shankly.

Mr Shankly, a man who is sorley missed. He was and still is a great rep for our team. Maybe our players tonight were thinking about not letting him down, but never managed to get the rewards. We should all still raise a glass to the great man, he will always be in our hearts. He will never walk alone.
