After the international break and a week that saw the club being dragged in the law courts, the focus will be on the football pitch again on Sunday as we take on our bitter rivals Everton. We are currently sitting just below Everton in the league table so a win is a must for us.
The Toffees will be without Fellaini, Pienaar, Anichebe, Saha and Rodwell who are injured while Jagielka is also doubtful.
Roy Hodgson is under pressure following the defeat to Blackpool two weeks ago and he really has to prove to the Liverpool faithful and the new owners that he is the right man. Roy will be without Dirk Kuyt and Daniel Agger who are both injured however Fernando Torres and Fabio Aurelio are both expected to feature.
