Luis Suarez shock Premier League return due to Barcelona turmoil

Imagine seeing the Uruguayan in a United shirt!

The Daily Mail is reporting that Luis Suarez is unhappy at FC Barcelona currently and could be set for a shock return to the Premier League – but not to Anfield.

The newspaper says Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all on alert after learning the news and we may have to suffer seeing Suarez playing against us and possibly in a United shirt.

This would be the worst possible outcome with it being hard enough to bid farewell to the 27-year-old over the summer when he completed his £75m switch to the Nou Camp.

Although we made plenty of cash from the deal Brendan Rodgers has largely wasted that on average players and despite the controversy following Suarez’s biting at the 2014 World Cup, it’s clear we have missed his goals and creativity this season.

Not that he has transferred that to Barca as yet, with the Uruguay international coming under increased pressure due to his lack of goals – three in 12 appearances in all competitions to date.

Yet English clubs know just what Suarez is capable of, with the South American netting 31 in just 33 league games last term to be named PFA Player of the Year, and therefore they are unsurprisingly keeping a close eye on developments.
