The Turkish side are no strangers to Premier League opposition this season after losing to the Gunners over two legs to miss out on Champions League qualification and then being placed with Spurs in their Europa League group.
Tottenham were also triumphant over Bilic’s men and the Croatian has promised ahead of the trip to Anfield that we should expect a better showing from his side.
“We are going to play better than we did against Arsenal and Tottenham, we have to perform even better if we want to get a result against Liverpool,” the 46-year-old was quoted by turkish-football.com.
After exiting the Champions League after a disappointing display in a group that although contained holders Real Madrid, shouldn’t have been too difficult to progress from with FC Basel and Ludogorets also present.

Let’s hope it’s not third time lucky for Besiktas against English opposition in Europe this term as Bilic suggests.
